Booking, Cancellations, and Payment
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) securely processed through Stripe. For a fast and easy checkout experience, we also accept digital payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay directly on the booking page.
Q: What is your policy for canceling or rescheduling an appointment?
A: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is strictly required to cancel or reschedule any session. Clients must use the dedicated Change/Cancel Appointment or Reschedule link provided in their confirmation and reminder emails to make adjustments within this time frame. (as detailed in our Terms & Conditions).
Q: What is the official platform used for all virtual sessions?
A: All consultations, coaching sessions, and language lessons are conducted via Google Meet. A unique, secure link is automatically generated by our scheduling system and sent to your email address and calendar invitation immediately after booking.
Q: Do you offer refunds on service packages (3-Pack, 5-Pack, etc.)?
A: No, all package purchases are non-refundable. All sessions included in a package must be booked and used within 180 days (6 months) from the original date of purchase. Sessions that expire after this 180-day window are forfeited and cannot be refunded. This policy is detailed in our Terms & Conditions.
Package Management & Scheduling
Q: How do I book my individual sessions after purchasing a package?
A: After purchasing a package (3-Pack, 5-Pack, etc.), you will immediately receive a unique package code via email. To book your subsequent sessions, the easiest path is to use your code to check your balance:
Check Your Balance: Go to the "Check code balance" link, which is available at the bottom of all your booking confirmation/cancellation emails.
Enter Code/Email: Input your unique package code or your email address associated with the purchase.
Receive Link: Acuity will instantly email you a link that says "Schedule now."
Schedule: Click the "Schedule now" link in that email. You will be taken directly to the calendar for your pre-paid session type, and your code will be automatically applied.
Q: How do I know how many sessions I have left in my package?
A: You can check your remaining balance at any time using the dedicated "Check code balance" link found at the bottom of any of your booking confirmation or cancellation emails. Enter your code or email, and Acuity will instantly email you a receipt showing exactly how many appointments are remaining on your package code.
Language Tutoring Specifics
Q: Do I need a minimum level to book Bulgarian language lessons?
A: Yes. Our Bulgarian tutoring is strictly focused on active conversation and practice, which requires a minimum A2 (Pre-Intermediate) level. We recommend having foundational knowledge before booking these sessions.
Q: What levels do you teach for Norwegian tutoring?
A: Our Norwegian tutoring is structured yet relaxed, focusing on real-life communication across all levels (A1 to B2). We tailor the grammar and vocabulary practice to your current level and specific communication goals.
